Recent Projects - O2 Entertainment District

 

 

Formerly the Millennium Dome' has been regenerated into one of the world's Premier Concert and award winning Arena venues.

ETASound have been involved for over 2 years on site with the design of the PA / VA system and performance sound system, this has encompassed:-

       Electro-Acoustic Design / Loudspeaker selection and location.

       Bosch Praesidio Network Configuration

        Dual Control and Amplification design

       Rack equipment design and build

       Installation Supervision

       Commissioning, Testing and documentation

       Maintenance

The entertainment District is located inside the main structure, and runs around the perimeter of the O2 arena. Each of the buildings within the ED houses, clubs, bars, restaurants and concessions.

The buildings are installed within a Bosh Praesidio based VA system with extensive interface to each of the concessions Fire and VA systems, which have also been installed and managed by ETASound. Their are three large open areas, which are covered with JBL AM series weatherised loudspeaker clusters, powered by Bosch 500 watt amplifiers.

The system runs on 2 diversely routed fibre backbones, providing full redundancy with separate A & B amplifiers per loudspeaker circuit and standby battery power.

ETASound also provided many of the VA systems within the concessions around the ED areas.
