Commissioning & Test

 

As part of the Project Management procedure, a bespoke test procedure will be written and provided as part of the handover documentation to the client.

The procedure may encompass a number of tests, below is a sample of requirements:-

• SPL performance levels for each zone or defined area
• STI (intelligibillity) performance figures for each zone or defined area
• Loudspeaker circuit test sheets, Impedance, Earth continuity, EOL value etc.
• Fire or Emergency Microphone operation tests
• Paging microphone tests
• Fire Alarm interface tests
• Message broadcast equipment (digital mesage stores)
• Redundancy / Network resilience testing
• PC operation
• Stagebox and multicore testing
• System DSP setting verification and backup file save.

Whilst this list is not aplicable to all projects, it provides a basis to work with and then develop a site specific full test, commission documents. These documents should then be made part of the final handover documents.
